French Toast New Orleans

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Oil
  • Praline Mixture (recipe follows)
  • 4 Slices French Bread (3/4 inch thick)

  1. Combine eggs & milk. Soak the bread in the mixture. Fry the bread in a small amount of hot oil in a frying pan. When cooked on both sides remove from pan and place on a cookie sheet.
  2. Spread praline mixture on top of the bread and place in a 500 degees oven until mixture is bubbling.
