French Toast New Orleans: Breakfast-Brunch

Prep time:10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • Oil

  • Praline Mixture (recipe follows)

  • 4 Slices French Bread (3/4 inch thick)

Step 1:

Combine eggs & milk. Soak the bread in the mixture. Fry the bread in a small amount of hot oil in a frying pan. When cooked on both sides remove from pan and place on a cookie sheet.

Step 2:

Spread praline mixture on top of the bread and place in a 500 degees oven until mixture is bubbling.
