Combine all dry ingredients. Cube the butter and mix together with the dry ingredients. Add the heavy cream and mix only until combined. Do not over mix. Roll out dough approximately 1 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter and place on greased cokking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 5-10 minutes or until golden brown.
For variety you may add your choice of chopped nuts, chopped dry fruit, chocolate chips, poppy seed or coconut to the basic scone mix.
