Hash brown quiche

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Frozen Southern Style Hash Browns
  • 1/3 cup Melted butter or margarine
  • 1 cup Ham - diced fine
  • 1 cup Grated Cheese
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Broccoli (Optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a 9 inch pie plate, spread the hash browns and drizzle with the melted butter. Bake for about 30 minutes. (Alternately - saute in a skillet until golden brown)
  2. Lower heat in oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle ham, cheese and broccoli over the potatoes.
  3. Combine the eggs and milk. Pour over the filling. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes, or until set in middle.
  4. Vary the fillings to your taste. Suggestions: Asparagus,mushrooms, bacon, Swiss cheese, seafood, diced sweet peppers, onions, or diced tomatoes.
