Ingredients:
1 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

1 cup sugar
-
1 egg
-
1 cup salad oil
-
1 cup rolled oats (quick)

1/2 cup coconut
-
1/2 cup chopped nuts
-
1 cup corn flakes, crushed

3 1/2 cups flour
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1 teaspoon baking soda
Step 1:
Cream until light, butter, brown sugar, sugar. Add egg and mix in.
Step 2:
Add salad oil, rolled oats, coconut, chopped nuts, pecans or walnuts, crushed corn flakes. Stir until well mixed.
Step 3:
Add flour,salt,soda, vanilla. Mix together, form into walnut sized balls. Flatten onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 for 18-20 min. Let cool slightly before removing
