Chocolate Hazelnut Icing for Whole Wheat Brownies

  • butter
  • unsweetened cocoa powder
  • powdered sugar
  • Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur)
  • vanilla
  • half & half

  1. Melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat & stir in cocoa.
  2. Add powdered sugar, Frangelico, vanilla. Add 1-2 tablespoons half & half to desired spreading consistency.
  3. Use to frost Whole Wheat Brownies (see separate recipe), for over-the-top richness! Cut into 24 squares or 48 triangles.
