Award Winning Sour Cream Apple Pie: Dessert

Ingredients:
4 tablespoons flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/3 cups sugar
-
2 medium eggs
-
2 cups sour cream
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

6 medium apples peeled and shredded
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Place filling in deep dish 10" pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
Step 2:
Reduce heat to 350 degrees bake for 45 minutes or until pie is set.
Step 3:
Mix Topping: 2/3 cup brown sugar, 2/3 cup flour, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 cup soft butter. Place topping on pie. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
Step 4:
This recipe makes a 10" pie or two 8" pies.
