Classic Belgian Waffle

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Packet Yeast
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Butter, Melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup Flour
  • 2 Eggs, Beaten
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  1. Combine Warm water (105), Sugar and Yeast. Let stand until foamy.
  2. Stir in warmed milk. melted butter (cooled) and salt. Beat in Flour
  3. Cover and let stand overnight
  4. Before cooking, stir in Eggs, Vanilla and Baking Soda.
  5. Pour into pre heated waffle iron
