Raspberry Torte

Ingredients

  • 3 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 4 Flour
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 cup raspberry jam
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds

  1. Cream butter and sugar together Add egg, flour and salt
  2. Press ¾ of the dough onto a cookie sheet. Cover dough with the jam
  3. Roll remaining dough into pencil sized strips and form a lattice design on top of the jam Sprinkle with almonds Bake at 350* 30-35 minutes
