Cherry Brandy Sauce: Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Brandy

  • 1/4 cup Red Wine

  • 2 cups Sugar

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 3 black pepper corns

  • 2 cups water

  • 10 pitted cherries cut in half

Step 1:

Place all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Be careful, the ingredients will expand and get very hot

Step 2:

Reduce by half and then let cool. If the sauce is too thick, add more water, bring to a boil again and then cool

Step 3:

Remove the cinnamon sticks and pepper corns
