Green Chili Strata: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:
3 10 inch flour tortillas

1 cup grated medium cheddar

3 cups grated monterry jack cheese

1 13 oz Bueno mild frozen green chili or drained chopped Hatch canned green chili

2 1/2 cups milk

6 eggs
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1/2 teaspoons pepper
Step 1:
Butter 10X12 oven safe casserole and cover the bottom with a single layer of flour tortillas. Mix cheese together. Place 1/2 of cheese and 1/2 chili in dish, layer evenly. Beat eggs, milk, salt pepper and pour over. Place remaining cheese and chili. Let sit in refrigerator over night.
Step 2:
Bake at 350 deg. for 45 min. then 250 for 15 min. Strata is done when firm to touch. Let sit 5 min. Garnish with sour cream, chives and black olives. You may add finely chopped ham or bacon to taste.
