Creme Brulee French Toast

  • butter
  • brown sugar
  • corn syrup
  • country style bread
  • eggs
  • half and half
  • nutmeg
  • cinnamon
  • vanilla
  • Grand Marnier
  • salt

  1. In a small saucepan melt butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. stirring until smooth and pour into 9x13 pan.
  2. Cut 1" slices of bread, trim crusts and fit tightly into pan in one layer.
  3. In bowl whisk eggs, half and half,nutmeg, cinammon,vanilla, salt and Grand Marnier. Pour over bread, cover and refridgerate overnight.
  4. Remove pan from fridge and bring to room temperature while preheating oven to 350. Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes until edges are golden and puffy. Cut and flip over to serve. Enjoy!
