This is the Carlock Suite.... Our Largest in room sitting area, the Carlock features 2 large wingback reclining easy chairs (not antique but look it), for comfortable in room relaxing. The ornate bed, sidetable, and amour, are French from about 1890. The attached bath has original tile, sink, toilet, and tub. The bedroom attaches to the bath by a walktrough turret dressing room.

4 windows in this room allow
views of Jefferson and Davis Streets. ENJOYThe Davis Suite .... Romance at its best. 1880 French bed with matching marbletop dresser and sidetable are our most magnificently carved bedroom pieces. There are also 2 1900 sidechairs with crocheted seats and a stuffed highback chair n this room......... but wait till you see the large bathroom. Italian tile floor and tub wall envelop the heated 10 jet, 2 person jacuzi tub with shower. No, they did not have hot tubs in 1890, but you will love it. A turn of the century antique loveseat perfectly finishes his bathroom. "Champagne Anyone?"
The Rose Room.... Lovely is all you can say. Beautifully carved Bed, Mabletop dresser & sidetable. French of course... about 1890. Antique sidechair and Armchair wih hassock. Frilly and bright... maybe the prettiest room and the best value. The private bath is 3 steps down the hall and is still using the original clawfoot tub and pedistal sink.

Victorian Elegance as it really was.... come and stay!In the footsteps Of Lincoln ........
The David Davis Mansion Historic Site is 3 doors down the block. Davis street is the original driveway to the Davis home. The Davis Rose Inn site was one of the original properties sold from the estate in the 1880s & 90s. Originally
the Madison Carlock House.... The Davis Rose Inn was built in 1894 by Mr. & Mrs. Carlock.... wealthy cattle ranch owners.
Abraham Lincoln spent many days on the Davis Estate with his trusted friend and political partner.... David Davis.
