Video

Your hosts Peter & Susan invite you to our historic 1850's home in the Mad River Valley to enjoy four glorious seasons for romance, relaxation and recreation. Just one mile from Sugarbush skiing and golf and seven miles from Mad River Glen. In the midst of the Vermont countryside, yet just minutes from the shops, artisans and marvelous restaurants of Warren and Waitsfield, Vermont. West Hill House is a great choice as a comfortable central location for a multi-day visit to all the scenery, attractions and actvities of central Vermont.

The beaver pond is great place just to sit and relax - and in the evenings to watch the beaver make his rounds.Wildflower Room, with great morning light from east and south facing windows.

Our unique gazebo is built from birch logs from the property. It provides a shady nook to read, or snooze, in the summer as well as being a beautiful spot for wedding ceremonies.Up its own private spiral stairway, the Highland Room features a Scottish Theme reflecting Peter's homeland. It has a queen-size bed bedecked with tartan, a comfortable couch for sitting and a gas fired "wood stove".
Old barn-board walls and exposed hand hewn rafters give the room the feeling of a quaint highland cottage. The Highland Room private ensuite bathroom features a gleaming brass sink and a Jacuzzi tub with a shower over it.
The Mountain Room, with its pine floors, hand-sewn quilts, and gas-fired "wood stove" is one of the warmest, coziest spots in all of New England! Up one flight of stairs, the room features a king-size or, if you choose, a pair of extra long twin beds, two comfortable chairs and a ceiling fan. (A $25 fee per stay applies for twin beds. Please select this option under the Add to your stay tab.) When you reserve on-line please note in "other comments" which configuration you prefer.
