Ah, the pool. This oasis attracts birds of all kinds. Watch as hummingbirds, cardinals, pyrrhuloxias, goldfinches, woodpeckers, quail, doves, and others go about their business as if you weren't there. But, you are!The main dinning room has a European feel with a large hand painted hutch, a fireplace, and a beautiful German hand crafted dining table. Original art from Pierr Morgan grace this room.
The Catalina - a separate 980 sq ft Guest House - reflects the delight of azure waters off the coast of Mexico. It is beautifully furnished and includes original art and photography. There is a fully appointed eat-in kitchen, a spacious Mexican tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. The large upstairs bedroom has a full-sized bed and outdoor balcony for sunset viewing. The Catalina has its own patio with a desert and mountain view, courtyard with palm and citrus trees, and a misting ramada with a peaceful view of the Santa Catalina Mountains, perfect for dining outside.
The Sabino Room is reminiscent of old Colonial Spain with an elegant queen size brass bed, hand-painted furniture, and a stained glass window. The private bath, with shower, has a artist designed pedestal sink with hand painted tile to match. The Saguaro Room has a feel of the Old West, complete with saddle and lariat. The bed is handcrafted of saguaro ribs. Original Western art, its own courtyard, and a private hall full bath complete the Saguaro.
The Santa Ana Guest House consists of living room, study nook, and fully appointed kitchenette. A 6x9 foot oil painting, "Flamingo Repose," adds warmth and balance to the 18 foot ceiling. The bedroom loft has a queen size bed and views of the Santa Catalinas and the Rincon Mountains. The Santa Ana has its own private and gracious brick patio with views of the Catalinas. A separate driveway and entrance give it privacy when required, yet it also has an entrance to the courtyard oasis and pool.
A trail system runs throughout the five acre estate. Along the way find varieties of cactus, palo verdes, mesquites, eucalyptus, and other desert trees and plants. You may even come across an animal or two.
