Come sit a spell on the front porch and chat or just enjoy the quiet with only the courthouse clock chiming the hour. The church chimes plays patriotic songs or hymns from time to time. Listening to the fountain in the yard and a glass of specially brewed iced tea will keep you cool. This is the front parlour done in the original paint color which reflects candlelight beautifully. This area is used for family get togethers, morning coffee and newspaper, as well as tea time and wine or drinks. The 12 foot Christmas tree and decorations make this room breathtaking at the Holidays.
This is the main foyer and entrance of The 1872 John Denham House. Please come visit us.This is the beautiful old worlde dining area. You'll enjoy your full, served, gourmet breakfast with candles for special occasions.

The Magnolia Room has a king bed and a walk- in shower. This quiet, serene room makes you feel like you have stepped in a whole different world made for reflection and happiness. Lacy Room - named for Mrs. O. Lacy, the long time third owner whose family had three generations in the house. It is our "oh so special" and romantic Honeymoon-Anniversary Suite with clawfoot tub/shower combination in the bath.
It adjoins another room which can be opened to make a very large family suite.
This is Harry and Lissy, the new puppies. Can you see Lissy hiding? They are Lhasa Apso brother and sister who are rescue dogs. I had to go to Tennessee to get them. They love to meet our guests! This is the Camillia Room, named after the many Camillia trees with beautiful blossoms grown on the grounds and original camellia light fixture. The pinks replicate the colors of the Camillas. It has a queen and also twin trundle/daybed for extra persons. Candles in the fireplace and a lucious bath in the antique clawfoot tub/shower in the bathroom complete a wonderful picture and stay.
This is our upstairs foyer - another place for quiet conversations. The stairs to the cuppola are located here. Jefferson's Blue Room is just waiting to make you slip into comfort. Candles in the fireplace add more romance. This room has a walk in shower in the large bath and a king bed.
