McCloud River Inn
Circa 1900. Nestled within the beauty of Shasta National Forest, rests this country Victorian. Five serene acres of lawns and woodland create a peaceful setting for this Nationally Registered Historic Inn. The interior has been painstakingly restored, and each of the five guest rooms has its own individual charm. Private baths are standard with some rooms boasting of whirlpool tubs. Breakfasts are a treat, and a typical menu might include a savory Greek quiche, homemade breads and a selection of fresh fruits. Enjoy your breakfast in the parlor or on the veranda while watching the birds play.
Plan time for a relaxing massage while staying at the inn. If you are interested in outdoor activities, you will not be disappointed. One suite is quite grand with a separate sitting area and Queen Anne style antique furnishings; while the other suite boasts of a private Jacuzzi tub and a four poster Cherry Wood bed. Each of the other three guest rooms are beautifully appointed with a restful country Victorian charm. Old world antiques are found throughout the inn.
