The front yard has old canopy trees as well as beautiful palm trees of different varieties.The 2 restored lights in the front are original to the house. Their silhouettes , when lighted at night, are like butterflies with spread wings.
the Blue and White Room has its own private bathroom  and is tastefully decorated with antique furnitures and blue toile The Lavender Room is the biggest room with a large bathroom and jacuzzi tub. The bathroom has carved columns and doors. The colorful stain glass windows are stunning and the headboard is beautifully carved by a popular wood artist from Nuevo Laredo. The room has an early 19th century chest covered with mother of pearl inlay and was part of Pres. Marcos estate collection which was auctioned in Dallas.
Named after its famous guest, Mrs. Roosevelt, Eleanor's Room is the original guest bedroom and the only bedroom on the first floor. It has a bathroom that was the in style of the 30's with its blue green tile, bathtub, domed ceiling and an old retired gas heater. The Rose Room is decorated with authentic antique furniture, has its own bathroom and has magnificent stain glass windows.
the Veranda  Room was an open porch in the original house. This was enclosed by a succeeding owner. It has a step-up , nicely done bathroom. To build a bathroom directly on the original floor was daunting as the house and the floor were built with reinforced concrete, hence the elevated bathroom. Breakfast is served in this beautiful sun room with a view of the pool outside. Adjacent to the door is a 4 year old pergola with beautiful cantera columns from Mexico.
The piano room has beautiful stained glass windows and antique furniture, one of which has the back of a drawer that has a writing of a loan notes from the 1920's. the circular staircase shows the original railings and lamp.
The bathroom of the master suite, Lavender Room, speaks for itself. A typical elegant breakfast setting that will delight guests
Christmas at Casa Rama is a feast to the eyes of the guests. The niches, shown with religious images, are original to the house. The backyard has a pool and the palms are now tall.Potted plants and flowers on Mexican planters are everywhere.Birds are a delight to see.
The pergola is ideal for a small wedding ceremony, bridal photo ops,etc. The spacious living room is filled with antique collection from all over the world. Guests are delighted to see and learn about these museum pieces. Sometimes the living room is emptied for small intimate weddings.
