Welcome to the "Iron Horse Inn!" This mansion was built in 1905 on a foundation from 1885. The Inn has 8 bedrooms, 8.5 baths and 2 outdoor cottages.
This Inn has stunning beauty at any time of year. Upon entering the Inn, the foyer welcomes you by the beamed wood ceilings, grand fireplace and genuine southern charm.
The dining room is accented by and abundance of antique wooden furniture that invite you to come and dine in! Attention to detail is apparent in the bathrooms from the distinct colors to the decor.
Guests can wander into the gardens to relax on benches and wooden swings adjacent to the Koi Pond with waterfall. They can also relax in the wicker furniture in the evenings beneath the 300-400 year old massive Oak Trees.  The open floor plan flows each room together smoothly.
"Baron's Balcony Suite." This is the largest bedroom with french doors that lead to its private balcony. The mellow pine floors and antique furniture combine to create a warm, golden glow. "Wine Cellar Suite." With original limestone walls dating back to 1885, this creates a quaint feeling in this private retreat. With a separate private sitting area.
The most elegant suite, "The Cogdell Suite," includes a solarium with thirteen antique windows, beveled glass french doors, antique bedroom furniture from the house of 1885, and original 6 1/2' claw-foot tub and skylight. "The Nantucket Cottage," is a unique east coast style cottage has a wood burning fireplace with architectural doors and windows that separate the sitting area from the 2 bedrooms.
