Beautiful foyer area leads to the staircase with all quarter-sawn oak. The chandelier in the foyer is original as well as the amazing leaded glass cathedral windows on the landing. Main floor living area. The fireplace has original tile hearth and a design pattern in the walls of hte firebox. Each room on the main level features pocket doors and all floors are tiger-striped oak.
The Fireside Room, which was the original Master Bedroom. Features wood-burning fireplace with Royal Dalton tile on the front and hearth. The back part of the house originally was all kitchen, with a butler's pantry in the room just off the dining room. In the two main windows hang two sets of the original leaded-glass kitchen cabinet doors. The cabinets and sink were put in when the house wa sthe Designer's Showhouse in 1977.
