The Presidential Culinary Museum located inside of The Inn of the Patriots.
We have received so many letters and thank you cards about the rockers on the front porch we would never dare get rid of them! The impressive 1000 pound mirror hanging in the front hallway never ceases to amaze!
The Colonel Cleaveland Room has back massage and foot massage machines like all of the rooms do as well as CD, DVD, stereo AM/FM, flat screen, 30 Gbps free wi-fi and 400+ TV channels on DirectTV. Our Nature and Earth Room featuring glowing igneous rocks, the burning bush light, trees inside the room, natural original artwork by Chef Marti and designer bedspread with slate rock dining table.
The Oceanicus Blue Dreams Room is loaded with hand tooled weaponry, swords, daggers and knives and is also featuring sailings ships, boats, brass hardware and a confederate war bond hidden inside the wall of the closet. We have been surprised at how many guests enjoy the uniforms and hats from the Civil War Navy! The dining room features the china of the first families and presidents as well as other unique artifacts and gifts given to Chef Marti and Chef Stormy. This is part of dining inside of the museum surrounded by the fantastic stories and lore of Americas most powerful family.
We offer a specific, successful breakfast each day daily that is typed up on standardized, HR formula systems that we developed and adhere to. These typed and scheduled systems allow even the most basic 8.00 per hour team member to be a success and come up to a high level of performance quickly. Enjoy going to wineries? Look no further than our region which grew by 10.65% population during the economic holocaust.
Our state is going to double its population by the year 2030 so wine and the wine business is exploding! Guests often want to get their photo with our team since the whole staff dresses in either chefs coats or colonial dress. This creates massive exposure on assorted websites around the world when guests are posting pictures of themselves at your inn.
The 1776 farm has brought us a lot of joy in its look with the Back Country Militia Cabin and the whole land including a Tomahawk Throwing Range, Knife Throwing, and Cherokee blowgun area. We also have two colonial tents, an old time still and a Cherokee home in the farm area. The Baby Ruth Room is painted in National Historic Trust Preservation turqoise and Woodrow Wilson creme. It is a private bathroom like a total of three of our rooms are. It comes with a Baby Ruth candy bar each upon check--in placed on the sleigh bed nightstand. Folks just love this new room and the stairs leading up to it!
While the front porch gets a lot of attention with rockers, the back - outdoor living room is a high point of fires nightly by the waterfall! At times, a dozen guests are around the fire who have never met each other. A 24 karat gold charger behind images of President Grover Cleveland and First Lady Frances Folsom Cleveland showcases part of the story on how our town came to be named after the President!
