Beautifully inviting, Thornton Adams House is an 8 Bedroom- 7 Bath classic Colonial in historic Plymouth MA. Directly across from Plymouth and Cape Cod Bay, with spectacular water views, we are nestled amongst multi-million dollar homes. This gracious, expansive home was built to be a Bed & Breakfast in 1996. In business for nearly 20 years, it’s high occupancy rate, has produced a steady revenue. Guests love our lush, landscaped gardens, created by a native American landscape designer. Filled with abundant flowers and birds, it is registered as a National Wildlife Refuge. We enjoy frequent visits from hummingbirds, yellow finch, cardinals, butterflies, wild turkey, chipmunks, squirrels, and the occasional small red fox.
Private Owners Quarters
Our 2500 square foot Owners Quarters offer a variety of living options. The open concept garden view Great Room with seating area, large flat screen TV, desk and dining areas, and chef’s kitchen all have dazzling views of the lush back gardens. Abundant trees, shrubs and flowers attract a constant flurry of graceful birds and butterflies. The large well equipped owners kitchen was designed to accommodate the needs of a busy Bed & Breakfast, with double ovens, refrigerator and dishwasher. The enclosed laundry has a high efficiency washer and dryer. A second refrigerator, freezer, and dryer are steps away from the laundry in the attached 2 car garage. There is abundant storage throughout.
Innkeepers may choose the convenient main floor water view king bedroom suite with private full bath and seating area. Or they might prefer the 2 room second floor suite with private bath and sliding doors opening onto a private furnished deck with gorgeous garden views. Yet another owners area offers a private family/media room with entrainment center, bookshelves, comfy seating, home theater, compact office space, and bath on the lower level, just steps down from the Great Room.
The Garden view Living and Dining areas open onto a furnished garden view sun deck, and from front yard, you can see out to Plymouth and Cape Cod Bay.
Guests may choose from a total of 8 beautifully decorated and appointed rooms. Six have private baths, while two are 2-room suites with Jack and Jill baths. These are perfect for families or parties in which guests need a room of their own. Of course, owners will be occupying a room or suite themselves.
The King suite has ocean view, sitting area, large en-suite bath with an easily accessible shower. (Innkeepers might choose this for themselves.)
The Second Floor

The King Honeymoon Suite has an oversized jacuzzi tub, a spacious bedroom with vaulted ceilings, large sitting area, and windows on 3 sides, 2 with ocean and garden views.
2 Queen Bedrooms with private en-suite full baths enjoy ocean views.
King & Queen Suite 2 rooms comprise a king & queen suite, sharing a Jack & Jill bath. The King room has sliding glass doors opening onto a large private outdoor balcony overlooking beautiful gardens with wildlife. (Innkeepers might choose this for themselves)
The Third Floor
1 King Bedroom, spacious room with ocean and garden views and large setting area.
1 Queen Bedroom spacious room with ocean view, and sitting area. This suite shares a full bath.
Across from Plymouth and Cape Cod Bay, and the nearby Atlantic Ocean, in historic Plymouth, MA. Just over 1 mile (a 15- 20 minute walk) from Plymouth Rock where you can walk through history where the Pilgrims walked alongside the Mayflower II, Pilgrim museums, historic monuments and Plymouth's beautiful quaint harbor in downtown Plymouth. Choose to dine in more than 100 restaurants, many located on the sea where the lobster boats and fishermen drop their daily catch. Enjoy antique stores, deep sea fishing charters, whale watching tours, harbor cruises and haunted night time ghost tours by candle light. Only half-a-mile from Plymouth Plantation where you can step back in time into the world of early Pilgrims re-enacted by the Plantations interpreters, who skillfully inhabit the personae of the Pilgrims and native
Wampanoags who lived there in 1622. Golf, biking, kayaking and other numerous water sports are nearby. Guests will come home at the end of the day to relax to the soft sweet breezes of Cape Cod Bay.
