Each of the four guest rooms has a private bath. The stunningly beautiful 1550 square-foot one-bedroom owner’s quarters features a window wall facing the Pacific Ocean, vaulted ceilings with skylight windows, two (his & her) baths, two (his & her) offices and a 2-car garage.
The Inn At Moonlight Beach is owned by Terry Hunefeld and Ann Dunham. When Terry retired at age 55 from his position as CEO of a San Diego training company in 2008, they purchased and totally renovated the former SeaBreeze Inn Bed and Breakfast.
One of the key reasons Terry retired was so that he and Ann could spend more time traveling and enjoying the paradise that is SoCal. With those goals mind, they set out to create an operation that would at once be a highly desirable location for travelers, while at the same time creating a business that runs on autopilot.
Today, 95% of the Inn’s business is booked via the Inn’s on-line reservation system leaving Ann and Terry free to go birding, lead Audubon trips to sea, jog on the beach, go on long walks with Max the Wonderdog, attend the symphony, dine out with friends, fly their Cessna to Catalina Island, take their RV camping in the mountains and desert, travel to Europe and the Caribbean with their daughters, attend Shakespeare festivals in Canada and picnic at concerts in the park with friends.
