Hello! We're Danny and Janine Wink. After six wonderful, exciting years as Innkeepers, we're ready to move on to our next adventure. As a result, we're offering our beautiful home to the next adventurers, whether they be Innkeepers, or caretakers of this lovely historic home.

This home is uniquely set at the foot of West Mountain in Hot Springs, Arkansas providing the most peaceful and relaxing setting for a romantic get-away, a family gathering, small wedding or retreat in the area! Located in the heart of the Quapaw/Prospect Historic District, we are located only four blocks from Historic Bathhouse Row.

We've returned this historic home to its style of the period. Its comfortably furnished and decorated to be a warm and inviting atmosphere, yet provides a very elegant presentation.

The guest experience starts when they enter the property via a private driveway that wraps around the back of the house and is the border between this property and Hot Springs National Park. This provides their first look at our park with its bright white gazebo, fountain, park benches, picnic table, waterfalls.

They can drive right up to the back door for easy unloading. After settling in, they can park in front of the owner's 5-stall garage.

The gracious foyer welcomes them into the home. It is highlighted by a lovely chandelier, unique 5' baby grand piano, and sweeping staircase. Off the foyer is the library where guests are invited for a "tour" of Hot Springs along with a list of recommended restaurants. It is a very comfortable room for reading and visiting. In the morning it is bathed in filtered morning light as the home faces east.

Through the foyer, is the dining room. Guests gather here in the morning for coffee, juice, tea...and of course, a full American breakfast each morning.

Behind the dining room, is our office and project room. It's also the "short-cut" to the back patio and park. (This room could easily be turned into a 5th guest room.)

Up one of the two staircases to the second level are our guestrooms. Each of our four guest rooms has its own classical style. Located on the second floor, none of the rooms share a common wall, affording guests a quiet and private setting. Each room has its own private bathroom, ceiling fan, television with VCR/DVD player, robes, and hair dryer. Guests can borrow from our movie library with selections including classic, adventure, new age/self development and new releases.

Guests can access our secure, high speed, wireless internet service from anywhere in the house, on the front porch or even the back patio.

The back patio serves as the portal to our "park" within the park. Here guests can chat, soak in the Spa tub, or just put their feet up and listen to the waterfalls and birds in this lovely setting. Its so lovely, we've been awarded the landscaping award twice from the Master Gardeners association...the latest in July 2010.

Here's a partial list of the renovations we've made. 2004--landscaping re-done, including adding 2-tiered beds in front yard, one water feature on side yard, one water feature in back patio area, added gazebo. 2005--resided with Hardiplanks to mimic original pine lapboard, 14" insulation added, tuck pointed chimneys, painted exterior. 2006--repaired interior walls and painted interior. 2008--did complete tear-off of roof, complete re-roof. 2009--painted gazebo white, replaced one water heater. 2010--replaced one air conditioning unit, repainted owner's quarters.

Our guests have given Prospect Place Bed & Breakfast a 5-star rating in both TripAdvisor.com and Bed and Breakfast.com.

We're offering this property as a turn-key business. We'll move out of our personal quarters and you can move in ready to accept guests.
