This museum-quality restored 27 room 130 year old mansion was one of the first summer-homes built in what was known as the "Newport of the west". This beautiful Castle Architecture Inn has been running over 20 years with many repeat customs, weddings, reunions and romatic getaways. It is a consistant money maker and the only B&B in town!
Fully restored in the late 1980's (with over 1.5 million spent on the renovation), the Inn regained all of its original beauty while adding in all the conveniences of today, including priviate baths for all 13 rooms, High Speed Wireless internet and a heated seasonal pool. Wall papers are from Bradbury and Bradbury, furniture in each room is hand crafted from beautiful hardwoods.. no expense was spared on this wonderful building.
The kitchen was completely renovated in 2007 and a 1400 sqr foot carriage house (2 car garage, workshop and storage) was added in 2008. There are both Owner's Quarters and Innkeepers Quarters (or can be used for your children) (2,500 sqr feet just for the owners!)
The Inn at Pine Terrace is easily accessed from Interstate 94, midway between Milwaukee and Madison and right in the heart of Lake county. Inn inn is easily reached from Chicago (a big draw area) and has become a nice alternative to driving all the way to Door County.
Our quaint growing town of Oconomowoc sits on the twin lakes of Fowler and Lac La Belle. The Inn is just a block from Folwer and and within an easy walk of historic downtown.
