The house was built in 1887 as a summer cottage. It has 8 guest rooms plus a 2 bedroom suite. The four guest rooms on the 2nd floor each have a private bathroom. The four rooms on the third floor share 2 hall bathrooms. There is also a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom guest suite with kitchen on the ground level of the inn. Our public space includes a large & welcoming front porch, a front parlor with gas fireplace, library, and dining room where breakfast is served. The house sits on a lovely park-like acre of land that gently slopes down to the Bushkill Stream. The village of Fleischmanns is located on the Route 28 corridor, just 2 ½ hours from NYC. Being only 2 miles from Belleayre Ski Center (.belleayre), we are truly in a 4 season area. Fleischmanns is a village on the brink of revitalization. The village has just completed construction of a new sewer plant, which means new commercial enterprise can finally be established in the many unutilized buildings along Main Street. And with the recent announcement of the expansion of the ski center and a $400 million resort project, there is much “buzz” about the area.
