A Tyler Historic Landmark, the Manor is a Queen Anne Victorian home which has been fully restored, remodeled, and tastefully decorated with period pieces. The downstairs rooms have been recently redecorated to give them a more modern feel while maintaining the historic charm of the B&B. The Woldert-Spence Manor has been in continuous operation since 1993, with continued business growth. We enjoy strong repeat and referral business.
The house is set back on a large corner lot surrounded by brick streets and many mature shade trees. The back yard includes a natural garden area along with a gazebo, wishing well, and large back deck. The main house has original oak and heart-of-pine wood floors, wood moulding, and gorgeous stained-glass windows. The stained glass is original to the house and is one of this B&B’s unique and memorable features.
All 8 rooms have private baths, some featuring claw-foot tubs. Additional features in some rooms include king or queen-size beds, fireplaces, private balconies or porches. Two of the rooms are private carriage houses for that home-away-from-home feeling.
We are just minutes from many attractions including Tyler's Rose Garden, fine dining, antique stores, Tyler State Park, and more. We are a popular choice for guests who come to visit Tyler’s famous Azalea Trails and Spring Flower Festival in the spring and the Rose Festival in the fall.
