This full service Country Inn is situated at the tip of one of the many promontories that reach into the Atlantic Ocean from Route One and comprise what we call "Down East Maine". This promontory is anchored by an historic and dominating lighthouse.
The Inn is open mid-April through December, with the busiest months being June through October.
There are 16 guest rooms, 12 in the main Inn, and 2 guest rooms and 1 suite (the entire second floor) in the carriage house, and a garden cottage. For new owners there are several options for owners quarters, depending on your needs, but current owners utilize part of the second floor of the main Inn for their office and living space.
Guests, and the public, enjoy the Inn's own restaurant and the informal and very appealing tavern. The dining room and the kitchen are newly renovated as of March 2015! The dining room seats about 28 to 30, with additional seats in summer on the screened deck, or flexible seating as needed in the tavern. The commercial kitchen is large and fully equipped.
Public spaces in the Inn are opulent yet inviting to guests so they can mingle and feel at home. Outside - you are at the ocean! Guests can enjoy the 3 acres of gardens, lawns and the gazebo, or in a minute walk to the lighthouse. There are many activities in this area for guests to enjoy.
Gross sales in 2014 reached $520,000. Cash flow is strong. Lifestyle is great. The Inn is a member of Select Registry, Distinguished Inns of North America.
